Every semester the International Centre for Philosophy NRW invites an eminent national or international guest to present a lecture under the heading “Poppelsdorfer Allee Lectures” on dies academicus. In 2015 Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Mittelstraß (University of Konstanz) will presented a lecture entitled “Fröhliche Wissenschaft? Forschung zwischen Erkenntnis- und Verwertungsidealen”.
