Free Will and Moral Responsibility in Historical and Cultural Perspective

This conference brings together experts as well as rising scholars in the field of free will and moral responsibility to discuss different aspects of the topic in a historic and cultural perspective. We would therefore like this event to include not only contributions to current debates concerning these issues, but also some consideration of their history in the West (especially among the ancient Greeks) and of how they appear in an intercultural perspective (for example, from the standpoint of Chinese culture and philosophy).

Conference language is English.

The conference is free of charge and open to the public. Everyone interested is cordially invited. For further questions please contact Melanie Riedel, M.A. (mymikri@web.de).
