8. Ernst Robert Curtius Vorlesung: Prof. Dr. Ned Block (NYU) / Prof. Dr. Tyler Burge (UCLA)

Since 2009 the International Centre for Philosophy NRW hosts an annual lecture of excellence in honour of Ernst Robert Curtius. This event consists of two parts, a lecture and a colloquium.

For this year’s lecture, we have invited two speakers. The relation between their oeuvres is particularly exciting and will be subject to this year’s workshop debate. For decades, Prof. Dr. Ned Block (New York University) and Prof. Dr. Tyler Burge (University of California Los Angeles) have counted among the most recognised authors on topics concerning the philosophy of mind and epistemology.
